Notice is hereby given that an election will be held in the City of Locust Grove in the Year 2007 to elect a Mayor and three (3) Council Members. Qualifying fees are: Mayor - $324.00 and Council Member - $252.00. Last day to register to be eligible to vote is October 9, 2007. For candidate info contact the City Clerk at ( 770) 957-5043. |

Hippity! Hoppity! Easter's On It's Way!
On April 7, 2007, The City of Locust Grove will host it's annual Easter Egg Hunt for 1yr - 6th grade. This year the Bonnet/Hat Parade will have an adult and child category. Prizes will be awarded for The Largest, Most Colorful and Most Original. There will also be a special appearance by the Easter Bunny. Pictures will not be provided. Parents are encouraged to bring their own cameras, and the Easter Bunny will be happy to take pictures with children. Festivities will begin at 10:30 am. There will be dancing, lots of candy and fun! See you there!
